Dark kitchen worktop that doesn't stain?

My family does a ton of heavy cooking, lots of red wine, spices, and hot pans. We are renovating the kitchen and want an ultra-dark look, but I'm terrified of staining a expensive natural stone. What material is genuinely indestructible?
