On Sunday afternoon, June 30, a fire struck houses in Maria Cristina, Jaro District, Iloilo City which left ten houses on fire at the same time, nine of the latter were totally burned thus displacing 49 residents. The gap is IA 98. 8 million, the Iloilo City Social Welfare and Development Office said that the displaced are are being facilitated with food and non food through two evacuation sites. A fireman Iloilo fire bureau was electrocuted but had minor injuries from the incident while the detailed report of the bureau is still to be given out to the public. 
Glad they're getting help at the evacuation sites, and it’s a relief that the fireman only had minor injuries. Appreciate the update! Hope everyone recovers soon.
