The bottles of bubbly are believed to have been traveling from Germany to Russia during the 1800s when they sank to the bottom of the sea, according to New Scientist. It turns out that the bottom of the sea, where temperatures are between two and four degrees Celsius, is a great place for wine aging. Wine experts sampled the champagne and described it as “sometimes cheesy” with “animal notes” and elements of “wet hair.”

Wow, underwater-aged champagne from the 1800s?! That’s wild! Though “cheesy” and “wet hair” aren’t exactly what I’d want in a glass of bubbly... 😂 Still, it’s crazy how the ocean was the perfect aging spot. I’d love to know what it really tasted like!

I would like to zip with that wine! Maybe it cost million for sure! I'm a wine lover and also a collector. I'll try to reach out for this wine.
