When man first flew into space, he turned around to look at Planet Earth from a distance with human beings’ eyes. Based on their observations, the Earth acquired the nickname the “Blue Planet: Well, it really makes sense because the greater part of our planet, namely 70%, is the ocean bottom! The remaining 30% is the solid upper layer that we call the continental crust. 🧑‍🚀 🌎

It's mind-blowing how our perspective from space gives Earth its "Blue Planet" nickname, huh? With 70% of our planet covered in ocean, it's no wonder! It's like our oceans are this giant, shimmering blanket wrapping around the Earth. Makes you appreciate the beauty and importance of our watery world even more! 🌊🌎
