Amazon's investment in electric delivery vans is a major step toward reducing its carbon footprint!
The company has ordered 100,000 custom electric vans from Rivian, aiming to have them all on the road by 2030 as part of its Climate Pledge Fund to achieve net-zero carbon by 2040.

These vans are designed with safety features like large windshields, sensors, and automatic braking, while built-in routing optimizes delivery paths.
Amazon has begun rolling them out in cities like Munich, Berlin, and Düsseldorf, with plans to invest over €1 billion ($1.08 billion) to electrify its European transport network.
