There is a single ATM in all of Antarctica, located at McMurdo Station, the largest research station on the continent. Operated by Wells Fargo, the ATM was installed to accommodate researchers and personnel who stay there for extended periods. It’s primarily used to swap U.S. dollars for the odd cash transactions that occur, mainly in the station's general store.
