The Antikythera Mechanism, discovered in a shipwreck off the coast of Greece, is considered the world’s first analog computer. This ancient device, dating back to around 100 BC, was used to predict astronomical positions and eclipses. The level of technological sophistication for its time is astounding. What does this tell us about the capabilities of ancient civilizations?
It’s amazing to think they had such advanced knowledge and skills back then. Makes you wonder what other secrets ancient civilizations might be hiding.
