Anyone ever thought about the strategy behind intentionally fouling in basketball?

I know it’s common, especially near the end of games, but do you think teams rely on it too much? Does it actually change the momentum in a game or just make it drag? Would love to hear thoughts on whether it’s effective or if it's just a gamble.

Great question! While timeouts and stoppages can definitely shift momentum and give teams a strategic edge, they can also slow down the game and disrupt the flow. It’s all about how well a team uses them – sometimes they’re a game-changer, other times just a pause. Would love to hear more opinions on this!

Good insight. I know it's a part of the game, but I personally think it ruins the beauty of the game
