In the course of the forty years of the new Olympic it is traditional to confer one hundred and fifty one medals for different branches of art among which music, painting, sculpture, literature and architecture. According to the founder of the modern Olympics and the creator of the International Olympic Committee, Baron Pierre de Coubertin art was a significant part of the Games. The only conditions that were given were that the submission any student made had to be related to sports.
