Are “healthy” sugar alternatives actually better for you?

Stevia, monk fruit, agave—there are so many “better” sugar options out there, but are they actually better for your health? Or are they just another marketing gimmick? 🤔

Great question! 🤔 Some alternatives like stevia and monk fruit are natural and have zero calories, which can be a plus, but that doesn’t automatically make them “healthy.” Agave, for example, is marketed as a better option, but it’s super high in fructose, which isn’t great for your liver. At the end of the day, moderation is key—just because something is a sugar substitute doesn’t mean you can go overboard. It’s always good to check labels and see what works best for your body! 🍯✨

Some alternatives like stevia and monk fruit have fewer calories and don’t spike blood sugar, but they’re still processed. It really depends on your health goals and how your body reacts to them! 🤔🍯
