Are reboots and remakes killing creativity in entertainment?

Hello everyone! I’ve noticed a lot of remakes and reboots coming out lately, and I’m torn on whether it’s a good thing or not. Do you think they honor the originals or just cash grabs?

Honestly, I feel like it depends. Some remakes really honor the original and add something new, which can be awesome. But others just feel like lazy cash grabs, like they’re banking on nostalgia without much effort.
