On the July 14, the officials in Assam said conditions of floods are improving in Assam as water levels are receding fast in most part of the state. As of now, no warning has been provided by the Regional Meteorological Centre in Guwahati, although, there were predictions that few sites in barak valley and several of the central Assam would experience showers. A report from the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) said that 1 more person died in floods and landslides events in Gogamukh revenue circle of Dhemaji district on 13th July, making this year’s death toll 107 from floods, landslides, storms, and lightning.
