At San Diego Comic-Con 2024, it was revealed that Robert Downey Jr. would return to the MCU, not as Iron Man, but as Doctor Doom in Avengers: Secretary Wars between Avengers and Doomsday. This is quite unexpected, especially after watching the fate of his character, but with Downey Jr. in a new role, the universe will be even more interesting!
