Continued concerns over Biden’s debate performances with incumbent Republican candidate Donald Trump saw US President Joe Biden attend a series of campaign fundraisers in New York and New Jersey; this time with his wife Jill. Despite the backlash that Biden and his campaign have received and the pressure for Biden to consider canceling the bid, Biden continues to reassure himself and the public of his fitness to be the president and vow to continue the bid. Support for him grew even stronger and his campaign revealed they were able to fundraise $27 million. Same scenarios were at the fundraisers as Biden and Governor Phil Murphy defended the vote by insisting that they will do all within their powers to win the election, this is after Biden admitted to moments at the debate where he felt weary.
