Black holes can distort space-time! ⚫️🕳️

Black holes can warp space and time in extreme ways, as predicted by Einstein’s theory of general relativity. ⚫🕳️ Their intense gravitational pull bends space-time like a heavy ball on a stretched rubber sheet, with the strongest distortion at the core, called the singularity. The boundary around a black hole, known as the event horizon, marks the point beyond which nothing, not even light, can escape. ⏳ Objects near a black hole experience time much slower than those far away—this is called time dilation. As you get closer, the difference in gravity between your feet and head can stretch you out in a process known as "spaghettification." 🍝 Black holes also bend light, creating gravitational lensing, where light from distant stars is distorted or magnified. Essentially, black holes warp space-time in ways that challenge our understanding of the universe! 🌌⚡
