It was a discovery that, in a way, changed my relationship with my own body, and might have made me a more compassionate person to boot: Your brain is eating itself right now. This is a process called phagocytosis in which phagocytes draw in other particles which are smaller than it and destroy them. Don’t worry! Don’t misunderstand, phagocytosis is not something dangerous, but rather the activity of our cells that contribute to protecting our grey matter. 🧠

Wow, that's fascinating! 😮 It turns out our brains are hard at work even when we're not thinking about it, cleaning up and protecting our grey matter. Phagocytosis might sound a bit scary, but it's actually a natural and helpful process. Who knew our bodies were so smart? 🧠✨

Absolutely, it's amazing how our brains have their own maintenance crew at work, keeping everything in top shape even when we're not consciously thinking about it! Thanks for sharing this cool insight! 🧠✨👏
