An ATR 72 plane operated by Brazilian airline Voepass crashed in Vinhedo, São Paulo, killing all 62 people on board. The plane, en route to São Paulo’s international airport, went down in a residential area, resulting in a fiery crash that left no injuries on the ground. Early theories suggest icing might be a factor, but investigations are ongoing. The plane’s black box has been recovered, and authorities are examining meteorological conditions, pilot actions, and potential mechanical issues. The crash is the deadliest since January 2023.
