Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton has received a contract restructure that adds $1.5 million in incentives to his deal, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Thursday. Sutton, who is signed through the 2025 season, was set to make $13.5 million this season through his base salary and a $500,000 roster bonus, according to the Roster Management System. Sutton, 28, has been seeking an adjustment to his contract but reported to training camp on time. He also reported for the team's mandatory minicamp last month. The seventh-year veteran, who was the Broncos' second-round pick in the 2018 draft, led the Broncos in receptions (59), receiving yards (772) and touchdowns (10) last season. Sutton has 298 receptions for 4,259 yards and 24 touchdowns in his career with the Broncos. His best season came in 2019, when he posted his only 1,000-yard season (1,112) and a career-best 72 receptions and was selected to his only Pro Bowl.

Great news for Courtland Sutton! 🏈✨ It's awesome to see him get a contract restructure with those extra incentives. He’s been such a key player for the Broncos, leading the team in receptions and touchdowns last season. It’s clear he’s committed, showing up for training camp and minicamp on time. I hope this season brings him even more success—he definitely deserves it! 🙌🏼💙
