A Bristol building featuring Banksy's iconic "Well Hung Lover" mural is going up for auction next February. The artwork, painted in 2006, shows a naked man clinging to a windowsill as a suited man searches for him, with a woman watching from the window. Despite being defaced with blue paint, it’s staying put thanks to a restrictive covenant that prevents its removal. The five-story Grade II listed Georgian building, which once housed a sexual health clinic, is priced at £700,000 (about $890,000) and includes a basement nightclub and potential for apartments. While the mural must remain, there’s no obligation for its upkeep—Banksy’s works are celebrated as impermanent street art, evolving with time.
