Celine Dion performed at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony following her stiff- person syndrome diagnosis in December of 2022, in what was her first live performance. Using Édith Piaf’s Hymne à l’amour which was performed on Eiffel tower, Diana said it was an honor to return to Paris and perform and extended a congratulatory message to the athletes for their hard work and readiness. I remember her getting emotional when telling them how much she appreciated all their work and encouraging them to keep working towards the accomplishment of their goals. Nevertheless, Dion still fights for her life, and although being ill she is still very dedicated and tries her best every day.

Celine Dion's performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony is truly inspiring, especially given her battle with stiff-person syndrome. 🌟 Her choice of Édith Piaf’s Hymne à l’amour and the heartfelt message to the athletes show her incredible dedication and strength. It’s moving to see her express such gratitude and encouragement despite her ongoing health challenges. Dion's commitment and resilience are a testament to her passion and dedication. 🙌🎤
