The Chinese Football Association (CFA) has imposed lifetime bans on 43 people involved in a match-fixing and corruption scandal. A two-year investigation uncovered evidence of 120 matches being compromised, highlighting the widespread nature of the problem in Chinese football.

The crackdown is part of the Chinese government's efforts to clean up the sport and restore public trust in the league. The bans are the latest in a series of measures aimed at addressing corruption and promoting fair play in Chinese football.
