The Philippines has launched a two-day joint sea and air exercise with the United States, Canada, and Australia to showcase regional strength and international cooperation in the South China Sea. This exercise comes as China conducts a combat patrol near the disputed Panatag Shoal, testing its strike capabilities. The recent drills emphasize freedom of navigation and coordination among allied forces, while tensions continue to rise due to ongoing confrontations between Chinese and Philippine vessels.
