The South Pole experiences only one sunrise and one sunset each year. 🌅 From mid-March to mid-September, it is plunged into total darkness, known as the polar night, while from mid-September to mid-March, it experiences continuous daylight, known as the midnight sun. 🌄

Isn't that wild? 😮 At the South Pole, there’s just one sunrise and one sunset a year! 🌅 For half the year, it’s pitch black during the polar night, and the other half, it’s non-stop daylight with the midnight sun. 🌄 Imagine living in that extreme light and darkness!
