Deepest Hole Dug by Humans

It's fascinating to think about how far we've managed to explore beneath the Earth's surface! The deepest humans have dug is the Kola Superdeep Borehole in Russia, reaching about 7.5 miles (12 kilometers) down. Despite this impressive feat, it's only a fraction of the Earth's crust. It’s amazing to consider how much more there is to discover beneath our feet!
