Did You Know Spiders Die After Laying Eggs?

Some female spiders, like the Sydney funnel-web spider, may die after laying eggs or after caring for their young. 🕷️ This is often referred to as "maternal sacrifice." The reason is that females invest so much energy into producing and caring for their young that they die after the process. 🙁

That’s such a wild fact! The concept of "maternal sacrifice" really highlights the extremes of nature, where some species go all out to ensure the survival of the next generation, even at the cost of their own lives. It's both fascinating and sad at the same time. 😮🕷️
