Before tie-breaks were introduced, tennis sets could theoretically go on forever. 😯 The longest sets often ran for many more games than typical matches today. The tie-break was officially adopted in 1970 to shorten matches. 🎾

No tie-break in tennis? That's crazy! I can't imagine a match going on forever. I guess they needed to find a way to speed things up.

Can you imagine the endurance it must’ve taken to play those endless sets? 😮 The 1970 rule change definitely saved players’ energy—and probably their sanity too!

Yeah! I think matches back then could go on forever. Imagine playing for hours with no tie-break—exhausting! Though, it did make for some legendary battles. 🎾😅
