Wreck divers recently found a heavily armed, 18th-century pirate ship in the waters between Morocco and Spain. Archeologist and researcher Sean Kingsley said that the ship, which they call Barbary Corsair, was the "first Algiers Corsair found in the Barbary heartland". ⚓

Barbary Corsair is said to have ruled the Mediterranean from the 17th century until the 19th century when it fell after the Second Barbary War. 🌊

In the wreckage, the divers found four large cannons, 10 swivel guns, and a lot of muskets for its 20-pirate crew. There are also pots and pans from the city of Algiers, European "spyglass," ceramics, and bowls. 🚢

Wow, that's amazing! Finding a pirate ship with all that history is like something straight out of a movie. 🌊⚓ I bet those cannons and muskets tell some incredible stories. Can’t wait to hear more about what they uncover! 🚢
