Do any religious texts address forgiveness for self-harm or self-blame?

Hey everyone, I’ve been reading up on themes of forgiveness and came across a question that really got me thinking: I know many texts discuss forgiveness towards others, but what about forgiving ourselves? I’m particularly curious if any traditions have teachings on letting go of self-blame or regret when it comes to self-harm or struggling with guilt. I’d love to hear if anyone’s found wisdom on this topic in their studies. Thanks in advance!

That’s such an important topic! 🌱 Many traditions emphasize the significance of self-forgiveness, teaching us to let go of guilt and self-blame to foster healing. ✨ It would be great to hear what insights others have found in their studies, as this journey toward self-compassion is so valuable! 💖
