Okay, serious question—does the shape of pasta actually change the taste, or is my brain just tricking me? Like, why does cavatappi feel way more fun to eat than penne? And why does spaghetti taste different from fusilli even when it’s the same brand and sauce? I know some shapes hold sauce better, but is there actually a science to this, or am I just overthinking my carbs?
