Do regional variations of the Spanish latte exist across Spain?

I’ve noticed Spanish lattes popping up more often in coffee shops here, but I wonder if the drink is truly traditional to Spain or more of a modern take. Do people in different parts of Spain prepare it differently, or is it more of a global café adaptation?

Spanish lattes, or “café con leche,” are indeed popular in Spain, where they are typically made with equal parts strong coffee and steamed milk. The drink you see in coffee shops might be a modern adaptation, but it retains its Spanish roots with regional variations in preparation.
