I was watching Deadpool again, and it got me thinking about how often movies break the “fourth wall” these days. Sometimes it’s awesome and adds to the vibe, but other times, I’m like... did this really add anything?
I feel like this technique either makes people laugh, rolls their eyes, or just pulls them out of the story. Do you guys think it’s used too much or too little? And are there any movies where you felt like it was used in the perfect way? Maybe it's a bit niche, but I think it's interesting how this can change the whole feel of a movie! What do you think?
