Does anyone still follow the “golden goal” rule for pickup soccer games?

I remember back in the day, we’d always end our pickup games with a golden goal rule, but now it seems like it’s disappeared. Do any of you still use it, or has it become a thing of the past?

Golden goal was such a thrilling way to end a game! It seems to have faded out in many pickup games, but it's still a great way to keep the excitement high. Maybe it's time to bring it back!
