Yorgos Lanthimos’s latest film, Kinds of Kindness, will be hitting streaming platforms soon. The darkly comedic triptych, which features Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, and Willem Dafoe, among others, follows three loosely connected stories with a blend of satire and absurdity. After its theatrical release, the film will debut on Hulu and Disney+ bundles on August 30, with VOD availability starting August 27. Despite generally positive reviews for its sharp humor and Lanthimos’s unique style, it has divided audiences and underperformed at the box office compared to their previous hit, Poor Things. Plemons, who earned Best Actor at Cannes for his performance, might still garner awards attention.
