The 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by the comedic duo Dan and Eugene Levy, aired live on ABC from 8 to 11 PM EST on September 15, 2024, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. This year's ceremony featured notable wins and surprises, with "Shōgun" dominating the night, winning Best Drama Series and earning a record-breaking 26 nominations. Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai took home Best Actor and Actress in a Drama Series for their roles in "Shōgun," while Jeremy Allen White and Ebon-Moss Bachrach were recognized again for their performances in "The Bear." Christopher Storer added a fourth Emmy to his collection, and Jodie Foster won Best Actress in a Limited Series for her role in "True Detective: Night Country," marking the first win for a True Detective actor.
