Ever noticed how space shows in the early 2000s made future fashion look... kinda boring?

So, I’ve been revisiting shows like Andromeda and Star Trek: Enterprise, and man, what was going on with the future fashion choices? It’s like they thought we’d all be wearing plain jumpsuits or weird, color-blocked uniforms in the future. 😂 Did they run out of imagination or was there some legit reason for thinking fashion would get so... meh? I feel like the 70s Buck Rogers crew had more flair! What are your theories?

It’s like they thought the future would be all about efficiency over style—nothing says “advanced civilization” like a matching jumpsuit, but hey, at least Buck Rogers knew how to rock a shiny belt!
