EXO Baekhyun Spotted Smoking Indoors + Agency Apologizes

On Sept. 16, a video of EXO Baekhyun went viral on social media. The clip shows the K-pop idol vaping inside a restaurant in Macau.

In response, the singer's agency INB100 released a formal apology, stating, "We sincerely apologize to everyone who experienced discomfort due to the recent indoor smoking controversy involving our artist Baekhyun."

The company added that Baekhyun and the staff were unaware that e-cigarettes were not allowed in Macau, and that the EXO member feels deeply sorry for causing disappointment to many fans.

It’s unfortunate to see this happen, especially knowing how much Baekhyun cares about his fans. Mistakes happen, and it seems like this was an unintentional slip-up. Hopefully, this serves as a reminder for idols and agencies to be more mindful of local rules. Glad the agency addressed it quickly, and here’s hoping Baekhyun can move forward from this.
