Obon is a Japanese Buddhist tradition where people honor the spirits of their ancestors. 🇯🇵 During Obon, families visit graves, clean tombstones, and make offerings of food and flowers to welcome the spirits back to their homes. 💐 People would also perform, Bon Odori, traditional folk dances, in parks and temples. 💃 Moreover, they would release floating lanterns on rivers to guide the spirits back to the afterlife. 🏮
