Fingernails definitely seem to need trimming more often—guess it’s because we use our hands so much more! I also find nail care relaxing; filing and shaping nails feels almost meditative

Yes, I've noticed that. After I trim my fingernails and toenails, my fingernails are always longer than my toenails a few weeks later. I wonder why they don't grow at equal speed.
