Former NCT Member Taeil Reportedly Indicted for Rape

Taeil, a former member of the K-pop boy group NCT, is reportedly indicted for a special rape case.

Korean media outlet Chosun reported that Taeil was detained for the alleged rape of an intoxicated girl with two accomplices. It was specified that the two other guys were not celebrities.

Special rape cases involve situations where the offender is armed or when multiple individuals collaborate to assault someone unconscious or unable to resist. If Taeil confesses to this charge, he may face over seven years of imprisonment under the law.
