Ali Abulaban, a former famous TikTok star, who went by "Jinnkid" on social media, received two consecutive life sentences without parole plus an additional 50 years, on Friday in San Diego, California. This is due to the killing of his 28-year-old Filipina wife, Ana Abulaban, and her 29-year-old friend, Rayburn Cardenas Barron, three years ago. 
Abulaban, 32, who was already separated from his wife, went to her San Diego apartment on October 21, 2021, carrying a gun after overhearing through a device he placed on their 5-year-old daughter’s iPad that another man was in the home.
Ali and Ana met in Japan in 2014 and got married in 2017 in Virginia before relocating to California.
As per the prosecutor, Abulaban's domineering and abusive conduct caused their separation.
