A global flooding of common technology on Friday that originated from a faulty update from CrowdStrike that targeted Microsoft Windows has led to a widespread of loss in connectivity basic services. This brought severe consequences, mainly to the flying industry, where many thousands of flights were cancelled and/or affected. The outbreak affected many businesses and governmental structures that resulted in the disruption of numerous industries, including the healthcare industry, which established the Austrian Chamber of Doctors stating the necessity of having an analog backup. Some airports and businesses are slowly coming back online even though they are beginning to show the continuing aftermath of it all, such as higher frequencies of phishing scams and the need to execute services by hand. Officials assure people that they are trying to restore infrastructural systems and regulate the crisis, although it may last for several days, mainly affecting aviation. 🌏
