I was at a service recently and noticed how different the music was compared to what I remember from years ago. It got me thinking—how has the role of music in worship changed over time in different religions? Do older hymns or chants hold a different place than newer styles? I’m curious if this has shifted in religions like Christianity, Hinduism, or others. Does modern worship music resonate as deeply with people as the more traditional tunes did?
