We read and watch world news every day, but I’m curious—has anyone here actually been present during a big world event? Whether it was a natural disaster, a political protest, or something unexpected, what was it like experiencing it in real time vs. how it was reported in the news? Would love to hear personal perspectives!

I think living through [event] really changed my perspective. It’s one thing to read about it, but experiencing it firsthand hits differently. Still processing it, though.
