Tashirojima, Japan, is also known as Cat Island. It houses more cats than people, hence its name. The cats were originally brought in to reduce the number of mice, but they've since become a beloved attraction.

Cat Island sounds like such a dream for cat lovers! I love how the cats went from being helpers to becoming the stars of the island. Definitely adding this to my travel bucket list!
