How accurate are weather forecasts really?

Hello! I’ve noticed weather forecasts sometimes seem way off, especially long-term ones. How much can we trust them? Is there a certain timeframe where they’re more reliable?

Hey! Short-term forecasts, like the next 1-3 days, are generally pretty reliable. The further out you go, like a week or more, the less accurate they tend to be due to changing weather patterns. So, for the most part, stick to shorter forecasts for the best accuracy!
