But I’m curious: are there specific religious doctrines or teachings that address this directly? Like, how do various faiths interpret environmental responsibility? I know some indigenous spiritualities have always emphasized a connection to nature, but what about the big world religions? Many major religions do emphasize stewardship of the Earth, with teachings on caring for creation—like the concept of "tikkun olam" in Judaism or "green teachings" in Islam. This growing activism often reflects a blend of traditional beliefs and modern understandings of sustainability, showcasing how faith can inspire meaningful action!
