Plants are amazing at adapting! 
In deserts, cacti store water in their thick stems and have tiny leaves to reduce water loss. Underwater, seagrasses anchor themselves in the sand and absorb nutrients from the water. One cool example is the Welwitschia plant, which can survive for thousands of years in the Namib Desert!
