How does Girls' Generation stay relevant after all these years?

It blows my mind that after all this time, Girls' Generation is still such a big name in K-pop. With so many newer groups popping up, how do you think they manage to keep their legacy strong? Is it the variety shows, solo projects, or just pure nostalgia from the fans? What keeps them at the top for you?
