How is Germany balancing green energy goals with economic pressures?

With Germany being a leader in green policies, I was wondering how they’re handling the challenges now with energy prices spiking and pressure on the economy. Are they sticking to their clean energy goals, or are they having to rethink some of those ambitious targets? It must be tricky with the whole energy crisis in Europe right now. Curious if anyone has read anything or heard from people in Germany about this balancing act.

Such a great question! From what I’ve read, Germany’s still committed to its clean energy goals, but they’ve had to adjust some timelines and lean on other sources temporarily with the energy crisis. It’s definitely a balancing act between staying green and keeping things affordable.
