How much does trash talk actually affect a game?

Hey folks,
So, I was watching a game the other day, and the on-field trash talk was next level! 😂 Got me wondering—does it really mess with an opponent's mindset or is it just all part of the show? Are there any athletes who are known for being epic trash talkers, and do you think it actually gives them an edge? Or is it just entertainment for us fans? Let’s talk smack about trash talk (pun intended)!

Oh, trash talk is definitely part of the game! 😂 Some players really know how to get in their opponents' heads—like Michael Jordan, who used it as a mind game to dominate. Then there’s guys like Conor McGregor, who make it an art form both in and out of competition. I think it can give an edge if it throws the other person off, but sometimes it’s just for show and entertainment. Either way, it makes sports way more fun to watch! 😆🔥
